Nothing great starts by accident, some few years ago I started my career in solar engineering

with some months of research online because in the community where I stay at that time solar projects was not common, so I had to do a lot of studies. then travel to Lagos to see some people who had already started this project of solar.

🧖🧖🧖🧖🧖🧖🧖🧖🧖🧖 It was a new business in Lagos as at that time in 2017.

But some people have already started doing wonderful things in solar, so I had to ride at the back of some people who had started ahead.

Those who have already started making money from solar installation, solar consulting and sales.

💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥So I decided that instead of just sitting back and waiting that something will happen. I organised my first major seminar in Sango and this I put together by August 4th 2018. .

The company that assisted me to run the seminar came from Lagos, it cost me some money and negotiation and from that day I have not looked back immediately while we're doing that seminar some people came from some communities in the other five local government of ogun West.

I took me some time while mobilizing to get clients to bring into the seminar as special guest to come and watch what we were doing.

It was this people who went back to organise the seminars that i had in mind that I hosted in Imeko town in Imeko Afon and dour other local government city. Ilaro, Ona odan, the Idi iroko, Owode, Abeikuta, ota, etc.

We even ran radio advert for it on radio while we were doing this I was looking forward to sell my first solar product.

We were concentrating on training at this Time. That meant that the only money that we made at this point was just money from those who come to the seminar to learn. That means I was getting training fee but have not been able to sell any solar products.

We were just describing to them what solar was and what ut can do to solve their energy needs.

So I had to devise a strategy of selling products in addition to training people and even getting clients for installation.

This mean that i needed to mearn more tricks to break into the market and get my first client to buy or do installation. I had to start learning how to market products on Facebook, on Instagram, and on WhatsApp.

So I started by creating groups on whatsapp, learning how to advertise on Instagram and opening pages on Facebook and then reorganizing myself on how to get products all over the world a competitive prize.

This was the route I took and I started looking for a product that could sell easily.

This one took me some time, at least three months. I was on it to get a product that is not too expensive because I realised the community where I am people do not know much about solar, although they have problem of taking care of their electricity supply.

But they also don't know how solar can solve their electricity provision problem.

For them I added educational tips to the ways i post my advert for those products to appeal to my audience and gradually I started getting people to make orders.

One of the major challenges I faced is that people do not want to pay upfront and those who want to pay upfront do not want to pay completely they want to pay installmentally.

I ran into a lots of problem at this point where I supplied a product at installmental fees and they will use it for some days and start giving excuses so that they will keep it and not pay the balance.

This is what I did to get to where I am today as i sold several items. I have done training from city to City by now, I have trained more than 2000 people in solar installation, I have two kinds of classes:

🧖 the class that is general where we do open seminar at a price very cheap,

🧖 then I have an exclusive one where i do the training for few people but they pay better fees, and in this process we also sold product online

That is where I begin to make my money and I began to meet needs.

As I began a new lifestyle in this and I'm now able to organise bigger and more profitable semanars by devising strategies of reaching people in the community who needs to change from the normal electricity to solar electricity,
