PROPHECIES OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN JULY AND AUGUST 2023 IN NIGERIA

PROPHECIES OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN JULY AND AUGUST 2923 IN NIGERIA

The lord has spoken concerning what will happen generally to all Nigerians that trust in his mercies and faithfulness.
The lord has Nigeria in the palms of his hands.

There are four areas that God is going to touch in this 62 days.

He is going to cause a spiritual awakening among Nigerians.

He causes us to pray more focusing on his intervention thereby growing pour spiritual sensitivity and  commitment. More will surrender to God this season as things turn out in the country. As the Bible says all things work together for our good.

Petrol Subsidy removal, food price increase, unemployment and all the challenges will give birth to positive revival. Financial intervention will be experienced in many families.

He who is down fears no fall. Nigeria can only rise out of this economic challenges. All round revival of God is coming. Watch out.

Our families will rise out of the ashes of economic challenges.. And our health will be renewed. Those who put their trust in God shall encounter favour all around.

PASTORING WITHOUT TEARS: Managing God's People - Part 8

Helping believers grow into God's plan and purpose is our core duty. Christian maturity is when a believer now knows why God brought him/her to earth.

Your job is to make ministers out of new converts. Make leaders out of 'ordinary' Christians. Help then find and function in God's plan.

If you notice you're not converting dormant Christians to committed and dedicated Christians you'll need to sit down and cross examine yourself.

Ephesians 4:11-14
[11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Verse 11 tells us of what we generally call the fivefold ministry. Verse 12 tells us of their job description. And the duty of the saints - the work of ministry.

The work of ministry is for all Christians not for Pastors only. We're all called to win souls and disciple them into maturity. The great commission is for us all not for title holders or the fivefold ministers.

Your primary assignment is to equip (perfect) the saints and make ministers of the Gospel out of them. Every believer is a minister of the Gospel.

The work of ministry is for the saints. The work of the Pastor is to train the saints and send them forth to do the work of ministry.

This is the primary responsibility of every local Church Pastor. It is what the great commission means. God will judge us leaders on this ground.

David took some vagabonds and made warriors out of them. Jesus took some illiterates and made mighty Apostles out of them. What are you doing with the ones in your care right now?

There should be remarkable transformations of lives who come around you. Their lives should become better and improved.

Your pastoral work should take weak, unbelieving, struggling Christians to maturity and spiritual stability. And make them fruitful in kingdom business.

Nobody should be allowed to be idle in your Church. Get them involved. Pray and teach them into commitment to kingdom work. The way you persuade and compel people to give, compel them to serve.

The ultimate purpose of salvation is service to God. We're all saved to serve. Make everyone serve.

Your faith and anointing is not only for healing the sick, it's also persuading power to compel men into kingdom work.

The goal of pastoring is to bring men to "the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ".

This takes time and effort. Put in all the time and patience required. Your reward is sure.

WHEN SEX BECOMES WORK OR HEADACHE

WHEN SEX BECOMES WORK OR HEADACHE

This is what has happened in some relationships now. Sex is no longer pleasurable but a work, a compulsory duty. It happens after a while in most marriages.

The challenges people face in keeping their family's sane and well taken care of is an issue that has robbed many couples of relaxed intimacy.

Sex time is now quicky as every one is busy. Who cares about pleasure any more.

Couples with two or three kids in the presen economy sex fatigue syndrome. They are pursuing money.

Inflation is causing higher blood pressure pandemic in our cities.

Take blood pressure machine to the market and get to see how many adults are now at risk or having sudden heart attack, stroke etc.

Even Pastors are not spared from this rise in depression and fear of hunger in town

PASTORING WITHOUT TEARS 7

Managing God's People - Part 7

Pastor yourself first before you can Pastor the flock. You also need pastoring from yourself. If you succeed at it you'll succeed at pastoring others.

If the workman is not in good shape the work will suffer. The workman's fitness is more important than the work.

This is why God expends a lot of resources to raise great leaders.

Acts 20:28
[28]Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

We are called to first take heed unto ourselves before attending to the flock. The flock will be better for it if we've attended to ourselves before them.

Take heed means, to pay attention, watch out for, be on guard, be in a state of alert. This is what we must do to ourselves as leaders first.

It is a command to continually be on alert. You're to constantly watch your spiritual growth, your doctrine, your relationships, your vision and ambition and your appetites.

Before we can take heed unto the flock we must have successfully done so on ourselves as Pastors. That's the only way we can be of true value and help to the flock.

Take heed how you're building the life of the flocks. What we teach them can alter their eternal destinies for good or bad so we can't trivialize it.

1 Corinthians 3:10
[10]According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

We're not at liberty to build according to our pattern. We must do it the Bible way. The way the Lord wants it done. The way that brings honour to the Lord.

Galatians 5:15
[15]But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

Slander and backbiting amongst us must die. It kills us and kills the victim. It's a dangerous cancer.

Colossians 4:17
[17]And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

Focus on your ministry, not someone else's. God won't ask you about their ministry, he'll only ask you about your own.

Fulfilling your ministry should be your number one goal. It should be what wakes you up everyday.

1 Timothy 4:16
[16]Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Watch what you preach and teach. What you preach should lift men, not pull them down. It should save men, not condemn them.

As the Pastor goes so the people. You have to first go the direction you want the people to go. If they see you there they’ll follow.

Eve ate the fruit and everything was still fine. It was when Adam ate it that they became naked. Until leadership goes wrong everything may still be alright.

Sarah was barren but it was Abraham God was talking to. Even when Sarah doubted as long as Abraham was still in faith, everything was still fine as long as God was concerned.

Your spiritual health and vitality is important to the state of the flock. Your spiritual tempo will always be that of the flock. The flock becomes what you are.

9 SIGNS YOUR PARTNER DOESN’T LOVE YOU, EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY DO.

9 SIGNS YOUR PARTNER DOESN’T LOVE YOU, EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY DO.

Ever fallen for someone who says they love you but deep down you feel they dont? It really does happen; you can be in a relationship with a woman or man who claims to love you but deep down your gut instincts tell you that they dont.

Forget what they say and watch what they do. These are some signs they dont love you even when they say they do.

1. THERE IS NOTHING EXTRA

Love isn’t an ordinary emotion; it always creates something extra. But a person who pretends to love you wouldn’t bring anything extra; they re all about talks but bring nothing as regards action.

2. THEY LEAVE EVERYTHING FOR YOU

When in a relationship with someone who says they love you but acts otherwise, you would notice that you do everything; from communication, to love and affection, to care, to being supportive — it’s all on you, and what do you get in return?

3. THEY ARE  EMOTIONALLY DISCONNECTED

With love comes an emotional connection between two hearts; it can’t be faked, it’s either there or it isn’t. A person who’s emotionally disconnected from you but claims to love you is only living a life of pretence.

4. THEY ARE  HERE AND THERE

Love is constant; it comes to fore every day. But a person whose love isn’t genuine would claim to love you today but won’t show anything tomorrow. Their feelings for you are inconsistent.

5. THEY ALWAYS HAVE  AN EXCUSE

With such a partner there’s usually an excuse for everything. They give an excuse for why they weren't there for you, an excuse for why things aren’t working, and an excuse for why they are not all that loving. There is just an excuse for everything.

6. THEY WANTS SO MUCH FROM YOU AND OFFER LITTLE IN RETURN

A partner like this would ask for so much from you but offer very little in return. They would want your world but won’t give thiers; they would want you to be there for them always but won’t be there for you. The work and commitment of the relationship would heavily lie on your shoulders.

7. THE RELATIONSHIP ISN’T A PRIORITY TO THEM.

When you value something, it becomes a priority to you; whether it’s a material thing or immaterial, it would become a priority to you. A partner who doesn’t really love you wouldn’t make the relationship a priority to them self, and don’t be surprised when irrelevant things win their heart over the relationship.

8. THEY ARE TOO SELFISH

A partner who doesn’t really love you would be selfish towards you and the relationship. They would want the relationship to be about them, always. They would be self-centred and try to make the relationship revolve around them.

9. THEY FLIRT WITH OTHER WOMEN/MEN

A partner who doesn’t really love you would flirt with other others and give you silly reasons why you shouldn’t be offended. They just doesn’t take the relationship serious, or your feelings and emotions.

If they say they love you and put up these acts, you really need to be careful — They just might not love you.

REMEMBER... NOT EVERYONE IN A RELATIONSHIP IS IN LOVE AND NOT EVERYONE WHO IS SINGLE IS LONELY.

PASTORING WITHOUT TEARS 6

Managing God's People - Part 6

You're the example God gave the flock to look at and learn. You're not just a teacher, prophet or apostle. You're your member's model to emulate.

You're not living right only for yourself but also for the many others the Lord sent to you. You cannot afford to mislead them with improper conduct.

As a Pastor your conduct is now public property. Everyone is rightly interested in what you say or do and how you do it.

2 Thessalonians 3:9
[9]Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

Like Paul, you'll have to deny yourself certain lawful things just to remain a good example to God's people.

A man of God can't just do whatever he or she wants. There are things you may have to avoid because it puts you and the name of Christ in a bad light.

Because so many look up to you as an example and model, you must remain saintly and worthy of emulation.

1 Peter 5:3
[3]Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

You're not called to be lord or boss. You're called to serve. You're an example to the flock of God.

Teaching and preaching is not enough, they need a physical example to look at and follow.

Philippians 3:17
[17]Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

In your local Church, the criteria for leader should be those who truly see you as their example. Those who don't may be committed but won't be able to lead according to the pattern of the calling on your ministry.

Those in your ministry who are following your example should be elevated for others to see and emulate.

Those following you faithfully are the ones other Church members should mark and emulate.

Titus 2:7-8
[7]In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
[8]Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Your every step must be exemplary. If you don't want your followers to copy it then don't do it. You're no longer a private person. All you do matters to the public.

You must be above reproach and abuse. You're God's representative you cannot be found wanting.

1 Timothy 4:12
[12]Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

If you don't stand tall in integrity, you'll invite shame to yourself and the name of the Lord.

Be an example in word, conversation, charity, spirit, faith and purity.

Romans 2:21-24
[21]Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
[22]Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
[23]Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
[24]For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

Practice what you preach. Don't behave like the Pharisees. Put effort to stay true to your teaching. Don't be found wanting.

It's not just your words people learn from, they learn from your actions too.

Hebrews 13:7
[7]Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

God is teaching people with your life, don't make it difficult for Him. For some people it's only through your life they'll learn the truth of the scriptures.

For the sake of those of us following your life and faith we need you to be a perfect example for us.

PASTORING GODS PEOPLE WITHOUT TEARS 5.

Managing God's People - Part 5

Everything you do for the flock without prayer may not last. Quality work in ministry is birthed in prayer.

Prayer is the heart of your pastoral work. Everything rises and falls on your altar of prayer.

You begin pastoral work with prayer, you sustain it by prayer and keep building on it by prayer.

Once we slack in the place of prayer our impact on the lives of the flock wanes and vanishes.

Every great Pastor is known for great praying. Jesus, Paul, Peter, Polycarp, Ignatius of Antioch, John Wycliffe, EW Kenyon, Kenneth Hagin, Paul Yonggi Cho, Enoch Adeboye, David Oyedepo, Chris Oyakilome, Paul Enenche, Solomon Ubandoma, Mike Boniface, etc were/are all great Pastors with towering pastoral ministries.

You cannot separate pastoral work with ardent prayer. Human beings are difficult to lead. Only by strong praying is it made easy.

Galatians 4:19
[19]My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

When you notice things are going wrong with the flock, your solution is not complaining or to teach a long sermon about it. The answer is protracted prayer.

The Galatian Church had backslidden going after strange Pastors and doctrines. The way out was travail in prayer until a change was birthed.

Paul was a great teacher but he dealt with problems in his Local Churches by prayer  before teaching.

The Corinthian Church was divided, immorality was rife, confusion and disorder was top gear, marital problems were normalized. See what he did in 1 Cor.1:3-9.

The Colossian Church was attacked by false teachers denigrating the deity of Christ. Paul's solution was prayer

Colossians 1:3
[3]We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

If we pray hard before teaching the flock, we'll record much more results in the life of the flock and the ministry. This is the right order.

Acts 6:4
[4]But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

There was a problem in the Jerusalem Church, the solution Peter proffered was to give more time to prayer not teaching the flock how to love one another.

They prioritized prayer. Prayer comes before the ministration of the word. If this is reversed problems will ensue in the Ministry.

In ministry, prayer is prioritized above the ministry of the word. In your private life, the word is prioritized above prayer.

This is not to say you can do one and leave the other. Not at all. You carry them all together for results.

See the outcome of their prayers for the people:

Acts 6:7
[7]And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Prayer is the main tool for solving ministry problems. Again, I'm in no way saying we should only pray. But prayer is what guarantees all other steps taken will be the right ones and it'll produce results.

Beloved, make it a duty to pray always for the flock. It's your commitment to them. It's your divine responsibility. Your work will be much easier if you prioritize prayer.

PASTORING WITHOUT TEARS 4

Managing God's People - Part 4

A Pastor that is afraid to caution a Church member is not fit for the job. A major part of your duty is to correct the erring ones under you.

Pastoring is nurturing, caring and training. This process is sometimes painful. Like a father that will allow a child to take that painful injection because it's good for the child though painful.

Love is not always sweet. Sometimes your love for the flock will lead you to allow them to go through that challenge and learn the lessons. Even God does this. So don't love the flock more than God does.

You'll be misunderstood a lot of times for having to take some of these difficult decisions but you'll have to do them for the sake of their spiritual growth, health and eternal destiny.

1 Corinthians 4:14
[14]I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

You're not called to correct just anyone you find. Paul wasn't found correcting Peter's flock. Peter wasn't found correcting James' flock. Focus on your flock.

Good father's aren't afraid to warn their children for their actions that's leading them to danger. They may not understand why you're doing that but you must not fail to warn where need be.

Paul, the wise master builder knew it was important to warn them. He saw what they weren't seeing. As a Pastor over your flock you'll always be granted privileged information that the flock has no idea about.

That information is to help you know how to help the flock not to mock them or display your spirituality.

Your intention is not to shame or blackmail or prove a point. It's just to help them become better and improved vessels unto the Lord.

Acts 20:31
[31]Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

The Apostle was always warning those who are erring and showing them the right way to go.

Warning doesn't mean condemnation, shouting, abusing, cursing, calling one out in the open, snubbing etc. It simply means showing the danger of a thing or decision and providing the right way to go.

Colossians 1:28
[28]Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Your warning should go with teaching. Teach them the proper way after showing the error. Don't just warn and leave the person or persons in the dark.

Your goal is to win over the erring and bring them to perfection in Christ. It's not about you exercising authority or exerting your might.

It'll take wisdom from God to do it well. This could lead to some people recenting and rejecting the correction. Wisdom will help you correct without crushing the corrected.

1 Thessalonians 5:12,14
[12]And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
[14]Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

The word "admonish" there is the same Greek word "warn".

From verse 12 you can clearly see that part of your responsibility as a Pastor is to warn (admonish).

One of the people we must warn are unruly people. Never allow them to continue their unruliness unchecked. It'll grow into a monster and consume everyone if allowed to fester on.

2 Thessalonians 3:15
[15]Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

The one you're correcting is not an enemy. Don't talk to him like one. Don't treat him like one. He is your brother in Christ. Your words and actions must reflect your love for him.

Warn the erring like a brother. Warn him like one your love and hate to see him fall into danger. Never as an opportunity to display your anger or superiority.

Romans 15:14
[14]And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

Teach other members of the Church to help correct erring ones. Teach them to do it in love and respect. If we can't correct in love then we shouldn't do it at all.

Those qualified to correct are those who are full of goodness and filled with knowledge. Anyone not at this level needs correction and shouldn't have any business correcting anybody.

Warning, admonishing or correcting is for only the matured in Christ. Your maturity is seen in your love walk, your rich knowledge of the word not your age or manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit.

Romans 15:1
[1]We then that are *strong* ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Galatians 6:1
[1]Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Handling the weak or erring ones in the local Church is for the matured (strong) and spiritual not for the "holier than thou" or the "Pharisees".

The man of God is helping you when he corrects you. Run away from any Pastor who won't correct you even when he knows you're wrong.

PASTORING WITHOUT TEARS 3

Managing God's People - Part 3
Jesus did not only give his followers spiritual food, he also gave them carnal things like food and money.

The Pastor is not meant to only receive carnal things. He ought to give his people food, money where needed and if possible and even spend his life for the flock.

It is the people that matter, not their pockets. It is the people God sent you to not their bank account.

2 Corinthians 12:13-18
[13]For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that *I myself was not burdensome to you?* forgive me this wrong.
[14]Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and *I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you:* for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
[15]And *I will very gladly spend and be spent for you;* though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.
[16]But be it so, *I did not burden you:* nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
[17] *Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?*
[18]I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. *Did Titus make a gain of you?* walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps?

Paul had biblical rights to receive from the Corinthian Christians. He brought salvation to them, he founded a Church there and pastored them. They were his children in the gospel.

No one will argue his right of receiving carnal things from them but he chose not to. It doesn't mean a Pastor is wrong for enjoying gifts from the flock. What I'm saying is know when to take and when you're the one to give.

These Corinthian Christians were carnal and babes. They were needing pastoral work not pastoral harvest. They needed a Pastor who would give them spiritual nourishment not take from them.

They were children to him and as a father, he was supposed to provide for them not take from them. At least for now that they're not grown.

A great Pastor knows when to give and give and give and expect nothing in return.

Paul said he was ready to spend and be spent for their sake. His focus was solely on how to help them grow up. That's our primary responsibility to the Church of God.

They never acknowledged his sacrifices for their spiritual growth and well being but he never gave up.

These kinds of Christians who don't even appreciate your hard labours over them are not people to be burdening with your personal needs. They need what you have more than you need what they have.

In verse 17, he's talking about how he never took advantage of them and his associates also never made gains off them.

As you serve your people with utmost integrity, ensure your close associates are also men and women of integrity. If not your hard earned integrity will be soiled by associates like Gehazi.

Your integrity in serving the flock is golden. It is a pedestal that keeps you above reproach. You must build it and maintain it continually.

PASTORING WITHOUT TEARS 2

Managing God's People - Part 2
The Lord sent you to your members to better their lives. What He is supposed to do directly for them is what He wants to do through you.

Our job to the Church of God is vital, crucial and irreplaceable. We are direly needed but at the same time our job is so delicate.

What we do and how we do it can alter the eternal destinies of men. It's why we must be concerned about how we go about it.

It's our duty to avoid by all means anything that can be a hindrance to our ability and access to reach those under our coverage and tutelage.

2 Corinthians 11:7-10
[7]Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?
[8]I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
[9]And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.
[10]As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

While we talk about examples of where people gave sacrificially to a Man of God, let's also tell ourselves examples of where the Man of God didn't receive anything from the people.

Know when and where to take an offering. You can't be a collection basket because you're a Pastor. There are times, places and people you should take anything from at least for the moment.

It is also not everything we do for the flock we should expect anything in return as appreciation in cash or kind. Our divine duties to the flock must not be commercialized.

Yes, the people are responsible to reciprocate in cash or kind to us as we faithfully serve them but we must do it with much temperance.

Galatians 6:6
[6]Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

1 Corinthians 9:11
[11]If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? (read 11-15).

Paul refused to take anything from these Corinthian believers. He instead collected from others so as to serve them for free. At the moment it wasn't time to receive anything.

It was for the same reason Elisha refused a lush offering from Naaman.

2 Kings 5:15-16
[15]And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
[16]But he said, As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

Our goal should always be to improve and transform the lives of those the Lord sends to us. Our reward is from the Lord not the people we serve. Our source is God and whoever He uses to reward us is at His discretion.

We may, like Paul, be misunderstood and despised for moderation but we will remain strong and keep serving and making impact and expanding the kingdom of God.

Don't become a burden to anyone or the people. Your only source is God. You may be in a place where you'll need to find other means like Paul did to fund your work, don't fail to do it.

Paul's boasting was in the fact that he wasn't a burden on the Corinthian Church. Let it be our boasting always that we have not hindered God's work by our personal needs.

Our goal always like Paul, must be to improve, develop and transform all under us and not to plunder them.

PASTORING WITHOUT TEARS 1

Managing God's People - Part 1

The people you Pastor are sacred. They're God's belonging. They're precious to Him. He is jealous of them.

He paid an unimaginable price for them because they're dear to Him. We can't afford to treat them like mere people and not provoke God's wrath.

They must be treated with respect and reverence by we who have been entrusted to lead them, whether as Pastors or subgroup leaders.

Acts 20:28
[28]Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

The Apostle is reminding us that these men and women and children under our leadership are God's flock whom He purchased with His own blood.

We are only privileged people serving as superintendent, caretakers, stewards or managers on God's behalf. We must never forget our place or assume ownership of these precious people of God.

We must be careful and cautious how we lead the Church of God. We're not permitted to do whatever we deem fit. We must always remember that our task over these people is sacred.

Whether you're a subgroup leader, branch Pastor or General Overseer, your assignment over the people under you is the same - sacred service to the Lord's flock.

Our core relationship with the flock is that of stewardship. We are called and ordained to manage God's people on His behalf. So our dealings with the people must always reflect that.

None of us will ever graduate from the position of serving the Lord's sheep. It's the most honourable assignment there is.

1 Corinthians 4:2
[2]Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

God keenly watching how you're leading that subgroup in your Church. He is watching how you're pastoring that branch Church. One day we'll all give accounts.

We are to manage them by His terms not ours. The scripture only is your guide to leading the flock of God. That means you must be vast and conversant with it.

Remember that you're a steward that will give account of your stewardship to the Lord. Your faithfulness in handling and managing God's people will be tested with fire.

Our privileged position of leading and overseeing the church of God must not be missued by words or actions. While we must be firm and authoritative where need be we must be respectful and honouring to them.

FAMILY SUCCESS: 13 LIES YOU MUST NOT BELIEVE ABOUT CHURCH WEDDING!

13 LIES YOU MUST NOT BELIEVE ABOUT CHURCH WEDDING!

There are many lies people are branding around about Church wedding that needed to be corrected as they have led lots of youth and singles astray, making many to incur heavy debts which take years to pay after the wedding guests had left.

Here are 13 lies you must not believe about church wedding.

1) IT MUST BE LOUD AND EXPENSIVE

It need not be loud and expensive. You can do it in a very low-key and save yourself of unnecessary spending.

2) IT MUST BE ON SATURDAY

Not at all, it can be on any day of the week, in fact, history has it that the original day for the wedding was Thursday, that is why a day before it was named Wednesday. Wed-the-next-day.

3) IT MUST BE IN A CHURCH
No, a church wedding can take place in a Pastors office or any other hall, where the groom, bride, Pastor and their families are present.it’s not compulsory to be in the church auditorium

4) THERE MUST BE RECEPTION
Reception is good but it’s not compulsory.

5) THERE MUST BE BRIDAL TRAIN
It’s not bridal train that makes Marriage work but bridal training. Bridal train adds glamour to the wedding but they don’t determine the success of marriage.

6) THERE MUST BE CAKE
Cake is not a compulsion if you don’t have money to bake one, that does not determine the success of your marriage

7) THERE MUST BE WEDDING RING
The wedding ring is just a sign that you are married, you should be joined with a Bible in a Church, then bless your ring and use it.

8: THERE MUST BE WHITE WEDDING GOWN
you can wear native dress for your Church wedding,it need not be wedding gown

9) BRIDES THAT WEAR ANY OTHER COLOR OF WEDDING GOWN IS NOT PURE:
That is not true, you can determine the color of the gown you want.

10) THERE MUST BE BRIDAL SHOWER
Bridal shower is a Hollywood creation not part of the Church wedding at all,so don’t go into debt because of that

11) THERE MUST BE PRE WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT
This is good but it is not compulsory, don’t go into debt because of this.

12) WEDDING GOWN CAN’T BE BORROWED

We have many bridal shops that are renting out wedding gown nowadays, this saves money and time, it’s not bad it’s encouraged since the gown is just for a day, why not renting one?

13) YOU CAN BE PREGNANT AND GO FOR CHURCH WEDDING!

In every gospel and real Bible preaching church, this is not allowed. It’s also not Biblical, two are expected to be Joined together during the wedding and not three or four as the case of a pregnant lady been joined to a Man.

May the Lord give you more understanding in Jesus name.

PETROLEUM SUBSIDY REMOVAL ECONOMIC INTERVENTION STRATEGY

PETROLEUM SUBSIDY REMOVAL ECONOMIC INTERVENTION

What we all need to do is what we must look at holistically.

Nigerians need soft landing to be able to cope with this challenges.

Expand a new market around gas supply by introducing me hanics training to convert cars, buses, trucks, Trycycles from petrol and diesel to gas.

That will create another economy and employment funnel for Nigerians at this trying times.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
So what do they do now to alleviate the suffering of Nigerian due to the effect of this spiral inflation. The government as a responsibility to give a twenty four months window to drive a turn around the restructuring activities of government.
They should ask this car manufacturing companies to convert buses for the mass transit solution of government. Then the present state government who has mass transit operation and services to do 25-40% reduction in transport cost across routes in their state and make such available for haulage of foods stuff on interstate levels.

The local government should support the kirope, Trycycles in public transport in their jurisdiction for the conversion to gas.
Create a platform for some local mechanics to be trained on conversion engineering of vehicles. Private vehicle owners can also take advantage of conversion to electric

This program can not be delayed. Especially taking control of the food stuffs transportation sector locally and interstate to stem the inflation rate of foodstuff.

Nobody can fold their hands, rich Nigerians, corporate organizations but join in the intervention drive.

THE CULT WAR IN IJOKO SANGO OTA IS WARY SOME

THE CULT WAR IN IJOKO SANGO OTA IS WARY SOME

Over the years resident of this growing community has annually been woken up to hear the killing of young boys by rival groups. Some times it happens in broad day light and in the full glare of residents.

From the grape vine we heard that each traditional areas has become a base to groups of cults like, Eye, Aye, Alora etc fro Oja onipetes, Gasoline, Ojualale, Ntabo-Alasia, Ogbaiyo etc

Especially when we head to the seventh month of every year the start from 6-6, of sixth month to 7-7 to celebrate it the hunt and kill their rivals.

In the past 30 days may and June nothing less than ten deaths has been withnessed or reported in the community.

What the law enforcement agency and community leaders are doing about it is not known or obvious to residents. People go out with fear. Cases of early morning robbery attack on early risers who are going to their work places in notorious spots around the railway line and station is not a new news.

Every one walks with caution. Okada riders are constant target of robbers and cultist. Many have lost their motorcycles to this thieves and cultists.

We pray for God's intervention to stop this constant security troubles threatening the peace and prosperity of Ijoko and it's environs.
We need the community leaders, Security agency, Traditional institutions, Religious leaders and the local government to come together fo fashion out a way to stop this ugly annual incidence.

FAMILY SUCCESS: 5 SOURCES OF STRIFE IN MARRIAGES

5 SOURCES OF STRIFE IN MARRIAGES

1) SEX
Many marriages are full of strife and woes, while others have packed up because of issues that have to do with za oda room

Issues with

~Conflicting demands.
One person wants this or that, the other person thinks it's morally/scripturally wrong or doesn't like it. E.g Oral Sex

~Conflicting appetites.
One Person having a high libido (wants sex everyday), and the other having a low libido (and is okay with sex once a month) has sent many marriages packing

~No Sex/no sexual Satisfaction.
.Due to a spouse with health related sexual problems like premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction, OR a spouse who is always traveling/busy and never around leaving the other partner sexually frustrated.

This has led to many adultery cases.

2) MONEY

You may think you know people, even yourself, till money is introduced into the equation

Money issues in Marriage revolve around

~Stingy Spouses
~Spouses with borrowing/poor money management skills,
~Spouses with integrity issues, no transperancy, lack of trust, reckless spending,

Contrasting GIVING, SAVING and INVESTING attitude give rise to problems in marriage, some Couples have been known to even go as far as poisoning themselves because of Money.

3) IN-LAWS (and other third Parties)

There are good in-laws who will make you bless the day you married their relative.

And then there are the others...........

~Especially when a family never wanted their Son or Daughter to marry You

~Especially when the person you are getting married to is their bread winner, and they still rely heavily on him or her for "survival"

Maturity and Wisdom is needed to handle in-laws, especially problematic ones.

Your Friends and your Family too can damage your Marriage via wrong counsels and unhealthy interference

4) OVERFAMILIARITY.

This has led many a couple to start looking outside their marital space for excitement, leading to extra marital affairs and divorce.

Over Familiarity happens when you begin to get used to your spouse you no longer think, feel or act like they are special and important..

5) TRADITION/CULTURE

The traditional marriage system once worked (or so we thought), but definitely not anymore.

There is need for wisdom,

You must BALANCE your culture and traditional beliefs about Marriage with scripture.

GOD instituted MARRIAGE
MAN instituted TRADITION

How to stop Leakage in your income:

What Is Leakage?
In economics, leakage refers to capital or income that diverges from some kind of iterative system.

Leakage is usually used in relation to a particular depiction of the flow of income within a system, referred to as the circular flow of income and expenditure, in the Keynesian model of economics. Within this depiction, leakages are the non-consumption uses of income, including saving, taxes, and imports.

In a lay man's terms it is unimportant things you spend your hard earned money on that reduces your prosperity.

Eg. Recharge and data expenses, smoking, drinking, drug abuse, gambling, entertainment, giving etc.
