The noise from the female hostel was deafening as I heard a lot of voices that seemed like some ladies were involved in a thick discussion.
I tried extending my ears from my room and the phrase that got me was "if you have it, flaunt it".
Even without giving a second thought to that, I was already able to assess what that phrase meant.
I sat back to reason, I know a person could have beautiful attributes to flaunt but indecency has been the order of the day.
Some people are naturally blessed with probably with beautiul shape😊, hot legs 😍 and the rest of it but it's not a license to flaunt indecently.
Here we are in the 21st century where it looks like fashion designers now have a different agenda, under wears are worn as full garments, the sensitive parts of a person's body are no more covered, ladies walk naked on broad day light all in the name of flaunting beauty.
Once, I was walking on the road and behold, I saw a young lady who was literally wearing nothing, just a transparent chiffon gown to camouflage the nudity.
At that point, I felt so embarrassed myself.
Yunno, most people even pray for decent husbands when they themselves are indecent. A man could probably flex you because you are offering yourself free of charge but when he wants to get married, his brain automatically resets and then he'll be in search of a decent woman so that his family won't be in trouble.
The rate of sexual molestations, immorality and rape in our societies is on an increase mostly because of the "flaunt it syndrome".
Why is it that as the years passes, man's sanity decreases?
Unfortunately this Babylonian lifestyle has sneaked it's way into the churches.
The Bible says, "Let's everything be done with decency and order".
The most beautiful lady is the one who covers herself up..
The most handsome man is the one who dresses appropriate.
You can be decent, yet attractive.
Scripture says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you don't need to expose yourself to look beautiful.
Let there be a bridge between a kingdom Child and an unbeliever, even in dressing.
Ladies, do not showcase what was meant to be paid for.
Decency is not old-fashioned.
Before the fashion defines you, define the fashion.
LETS FLAUNT DECENCY.
