Orderliness in a Local Church - 1
Where there is no order, there is no God. The most orderly people should be Christians. We should all ensure orderliness in all we do in God's house.
To keep the devil far from our midst we must ensure orderliness. Every member of a local Church should be committed to this.
1 Corinthians 1:10
[10]Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all *speak the same thing*, and that there be *no divisions among you*; but that ye be *perfectly joined together* in the same mind and in the same judgment.
A local Church should speak one thing, have one language, that is, believe and profess the same things. No one is allowed to believe different things from what the group stands for.
If we do this there won't be divisions amongst us. And we'll be perfectly joined together in mind and thought or judgment.
The beginning of order in a local church is that we must all drink from one source. Give your Pastor your ears and attention.
Don't be that member of the team that has a different coach from the coach chosen for the team. There'll be confusion.
See exam of what we must avoid to maintain order:
1 Corinthians 1:12
[12]Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
We can't have 2 pilots steering an airplane and not crash. You can't have 2 drivers in a car and not crash. You can't have 2 teachers in one class and not be confused. Two generals can not be commanding a battalion.
This was why the Corinthians church had so many problems. They were disorderly in their submission to the right authority. They submitted to multiple personalities and that produced division and confusion and they remained carnal.
What's your contribution to ensure order in your Church?
