It is designed to work throughout the night. It automatically switches on after sunset and off at sunrise. Hence, many can stay for more than 12hours if the outshine of the sun delays (natural phenomenon).
The system constitutes
•The solar panels
•Led light
•Rechargeable batteries
•controller
•Interconnecting cables
•Pole
The two types of solar panels are
°Mono crystalline solar panel and
°Poly crystalline solar panel
The Rechargeable batteries are of three types, namely
* Gel cell deep cycle batteries
* Lead acid batteries and
* Lithium ion batteries.
*BENEFITS OF SOLAR STREET LIGHT*
-Solar lighting is a very good source of *security* against danger at both indoor and outdoor atmosphere.
